Many of these creative efforts concern characters conceived and given wondrous
form in the brilliant imagination of JRR Tolkien. I would not be furnishing
this webpage in such length, however, if not for a theatrical experience in
December of 2001. A story, one I had read many times and been friends with
long ago, regained life for me. It was given new focus and center thanks to an
amazingly talented and dedicated group of actors and artisans under the
incredible vision of Peter Jackson. For this gift I thank them all.
